17:45 <Herc> PSU_MAX_CURRENT=5000 is another option to use your current psu, dunno if you put in in config.txt or into the eeprom, just google it

17:50 <Herc> the pi5 has a new "Power Management Chip" which asks a PD usbc PSU if it can deliver 5A. PSU_MAX_CURRENT entry can override that if there is no proper answer.
