Hi! I recently wanted to update Armbian on my Olimex Lime2 eMMC. I downloaded the latest image on the website (Trixie, development build) and managed to boot it by SD card. But using armbian-install to install it to the eMMC doesn't seem to work. The kernel hangs during the boot. Has anyone else hit this issue?
<Jookia>
The kernel isn't frozen or anything, it will still print a message if I insert an SD card. My best guess is its waiting for root.

Hmm, more logging shows it does manage to get to running /init but there's nothing after that

[Discord] <Werner> Set verbosity to 7 in armbianEnv.txt to get more clues

[Discord] <Werner> If it drops to initramfs check if the blkid of the eMMC rootfs partition matches the one in armbianEnv.txt

I managed to dd a disk image on to my main drive so I'll be unable to try anything for a day or so. I checked that the roots matches and I believe I put verbosity at 7. Next step I suppose will be manually booting the kernel in uboot with the SD card rootfs and seeing if that boots.

note that you can run blkid on the SD card from another machine. just insert the SD card, then as root `blkid |grep /dev/foo` where `foo` is the blkdevice for the SD card.

when i run apt update there's an upgrade available for "linux-image-current-bcm2711", but after running apt full-upgrade i see in fastfetch that i still have the same version of the kernel i had before, even after restarting OS. relevant terminal logs: https://paste.debian.net/plainh/db09ccba
