<diederik> On Debian I have ``XKBOPTIONS=caps:swapescape`` in /etc/default/keyboard but that doesn't seem to work in foot. I have found there are xkb_options in sway's input config. Is it there that I need to define it?
<diederik> If so, where can I find the list of xkb_options I can use? Are those from ``man 7 xkeyboard-config``?
<diederik> Or do I need to define these kind of things in foot.ini?
<diederik> ... I could've just tried it first ... LOL ... it's now working :)

<l00cy> diederik: XKBOPTIONS is a X thing. you should not expect that to work on wayland. your compositor probably has a way to set that option.

<diederik> l00cy: afaik it does work on KDE Plasma which is wayland now too? And it also works on a 'pure' commandline, where X isn't running (either)
<diederik> I've now configured it by setting ``xkb_options caps:swapescape, compose:ralt`` in an 'input' block in my sway config, which matches ``man 7 xkeyboard-config`` settings.

<diederik> In hindsight (I guess it) makes sense, but until earlier today I didn't realize I needed to do it :)
