cfbolz changed the topic of #pypy to: #pypy PyPy, the flexible snake https://pypy.org | IRC logs: https://quodlibet.duckdns.org/irc/pypy/latest.log.html#irc-end and https://libera.irclog.whitequark.org/pypy | the pypy angle is to shrug and copy the implementation of CPython as closely as possible, and staying out of design decisions

<cfbolz> _vertig0: which platform? for me it "just works" with pip install
<cfbolz> _vertig0: also, if you compile yourself an old cpython 2.7, it can also be used to translate pypy

<_vertig0> cfbolz: Sorry for not seeing your message earlier, I'm running 64 bit PyPy 2.7.18 v7.3.19 on Windows
<_vertig0> There doesn't seem to be prebuilt wheels of any version of pygame for PyPy 2, it always tries to build pygame from source everytime I pip install it, and then explodes while trying to build from source
<_vertig0> I got my PyPy from the PyPy downloads page at https://pypy.org/download.html running on Windows as I mentioned earlier
