cfbolz changed the topic of #pypy to: #pypy PyPy, the flexible snake https://pypy.org | IRC logs: https://quodlibet.duckdns.org/irc/pypy/latest.log.html#irc-end and https://libera.irclog.whitequark.org/pypy | the pypy angle is to shrug and copy the implementation of CPython as closely as possible, and staying out of design decisions

<BarrensZeppelin> cfbolz: Something I forgot to mention: The rpython_generator.py that generates the PEG parser runs into the recursion limit in PyPy 7.3.20, while it didn't in 7.3.19.
<BarrensZeppelin> It's not really a problem, but maybe it's a regression that's worth looking into?

<BarrensZeppelin> Ah, that was a bit imprecise. The uploaded [PyPy 7.3.20 with GCC 10.2.1 20210130] works as well. It's only my pacman-distributed copy of [PyPy 7.3.20 with GCC 15.1.1 20250425] that has the problem. 🤔
