rrq: yes, if you tell Linux it has PSCI when your firmware does not actually implement PSCI, you're going to have a bad time.
<robmur01>
beyond that, you'd also have the fun of PSCI starting secondary CPUs at EL2 where the AArch32 kernel isn't

ta. I'll need to learn about the psci. This box cold resets to aarch32 with only primary cpu; won't the secondary cpus then also "boot" in aarch32 mode?

<robmur01>
the fact that you can boot a 64-bit kernel says it's not running AArch32 at EL3, but I guess if you're hacking BL31 to drop to NS-EL2 in AArch32 then maybe it does work out
<robmur01>
last time I played with this sort of thing (10 years ago!) I hacked an arm64 image header and A64 EL2 entrypoints into the 32-bit kernel to make it bootable by stock 64-bit firmware :D
<rrq>
hmm, no chance you'd have that code around and sharable?

tagr: Can drivers/pinctrl/tegra/pinctrl-tegra-xusb.c and the old binding be removed? Seems it has been 10 years since converting to the new binding/driver.
