hnv (if you later read this): since the driver apparently supports rotation, I would assume that any drm application can set rotation via modesetting

I was working on my BBB with the img `AM335x 11.7 2023-09-02 4GB microSD IoT` (Kernel: 5.10.168-ti-r71), then I used RobertCNelson/ti-linux-kernel-dev to add KGDB support (which was incredibly fun). The compiled kernel was version `5.10.168-ti-r72`. I wrote a custom I2C driver which was also fun, but now, revisiting that setup, I cannot use

miscdevices to make a dummy driver. I get `Unknown symbol misc_register (err -22), disagrees about version of symbol misc_deregister`
