<r0ni>
https://git.crux.nu/jlngn/quickshell/ i made a repo on crux.nu but i can't get httpup or rsync to sync it locally... is there a hidden magic url to use for users?
<beerman>
I dont think we will make rsync available for user repos, though I have no idea. httpup should work but it might need another schema than it does on github
<beerman>
seems like it "works", but it will always send the content of .git folder as well, those fail
<beerman>
they are all content of your REPO file too
<cruxbridge>
<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> .httpup-repgen-ignore excluding not needed stuff like in any other httpup repo no?
<beerman>
yeah
<r0ni>
raw/branch -- ok i tried branch/3.8/ etc, i kept trying things and nothing worked
<r0ni>
initially it pulled some odd rando metadata stuff, wasn't even files but it filled up the portdir
<r0ni>
i'll check the repo file, not sure what it added to it actually
<r0ni>
ahh i see all the .git stuff, thats a F on me
<r0ni>
i'll fix in a couple hours then, if we're allowed to keep httpup stuff there at least. If you guys would rather users not put repos up on the server, I can move it
