macromorgan: regarding CPU_SLEEP and scmi clks, ensure you have a correct opp with opp-suspend marked, for the rk356x gpu/npu any opp <=400mhz should do and for the cpu any opp <=816mhz should do, to help ensure the pvtpll is disabled in device suspend state (when scmi clk is controlled by opp table)
Kwiboo- is now known as Kwiboo
<Kwiboo>
I have been testing using the scmi gpu clock with panthor on rk3588 and discovered that the power domain cannot be brought back up if the gpu pvtpll was active when gpu domain was brought down, similar when trying to change the scmi gpu rate when the power domain or cru gpu clk is down/disabled
<Kwiboo>
vendor/bsp kernel solve this by setting scmi clock to 200mhz in the bifrost driver, but we can just as easily use a 200mhz opp-suspend for mainline, hoping to have a RFC on list later today

macromorgan: I'm going to assume you're right. Neither regulator-always+boot-on or the SCMI clocks made a difference
<diederik>
And then ``PM: genpd: Disabling unused power domains`` finally sunk in. If the power domain gets disabled, then I guess the rest doesn't matter
<diederik>
I'll just 'withdraw' any questions I had wrt the TF-A 'MR' and indeed attribute any issues to the kernel side of things
