<mmind00>
Ermine: rk3288 does have full dram init in uboot and the kernel uses the "old" in-kernel smp bringup with being arm32, so that _should_ just work

qschulz: currently we use stuff from rkbin to make idbloader and stuff as per rockchip wiki
<qschulz>
Ermine: don't read rockchip wiki for upstream stuff :)
<Ermine>
Okay
<qschulz>
idbloader from rkbin is typically only useful if you don't have an open-source DRAM initialization available in U-Boot
<qschulz>
it's essentially U-Boot TPL/SPL
<qschulz>
but if you have open-source DRAM init, then you don't need it
<Ermine>
Well, if I just can throw away those blob I'll be just happy
