Curious to see how many months it'll take before the (TF-A) CI failures will be fixed. If ever :-/
<Dex2x>
dsimic, Ah I missed your message, can I pm you those details?
naoki has joined #linux-rockchip
<dsimic>
diederik: I keep saying semi-jokingly that TF-A progresses very slowly because nobody actually knows how to use Gerrit :/
<dsimic>
Dex2x: sure, but as CounterPillow explained already, your name and email addreess will become pretty much public that way, so making it public a bit earlier here doesn't make a huge difference, frankly
<dsimic>
of course, all that hinges on you being fine with your private data becoming public this or that way
<Dex2x>
haha well I missed that, using two clients kinda messes with my chat history. But I was going to ask, doesn't this link to a github as well?
<diederik>
Gerrit sucks, but that's irrelevant in this case
<Dex2x>
Github user's and linking just seems easier
<dsimic>
Dex2x: not GitHub directly, because only a mirror of the kernel Git repository is there
<diederik>
if you can upload a new version, you can also upload a version where you actually fix the issues the CI reported
<dsimic>
diederik: indeed
<dsimic>
Dex2x: your name and email address would be included as "Reported-by: John Smith <john@example.com>" tags within the patches submitted upstream
<dsimic>
it has nothing to do with GitHub or anything else
<Dex2x>
ah okay, I was wondering which system this would go to
