<remilias1> Who changed my name?
remilias1 is now known as remiliascarlet
<remiliascarlet> SiFuh: Just like the Chinese, it looks like Malaysians also send their parcels wrapped in plastic and a massive sticker on it.
<remiliascarlet> Very annoying to rip it off and destroy private information before throwing away that plastic.
* SiFuh is now known as remiliascarlet
<SiFuh> remiliascarlet: I hate how they put FRAGILE on every package. The deliveries don't bother reading it anymore so they treat the real fragile packages like they are not.
<remiliascarlet> Well, they're not wrong. Almost everything made today is fragile by design.
<SiFuh> I had a 50KG bench vice posted and it had fragile on it. They needed two people to load it into the truck. When they arrived I ran outside and picked it up and walked off with it. They were surprised. Then I put it down and saw a massive FRAGILE sticker and thought, are you fucking kidding me?
<remiliascarlet> Look at the Nokia 3310 for example, you can just take it all the way up into the atmosphere, throw it down into a warzone in a place filled with landmines, the phone would get hit by explosion after explosion, and that thing will still work and have not even 1 scratch of damage.
<remiliascarlet> Compare that to an iPhone; you drop it from 2 cm, and it's all the way broken.
<SiFuh> remiliascarlet: I can't remember which one it was. The other month a large box arrived. It was wrapped in plastic. Ripped off the plastic. Remvoed the tape. Opened the box. Inside it was packed tightly with leftover and torn pieces of cardboard. I pulled that shit out and there was bubble wrap inside. I picked it, and tore it off and there was, Oh two plastic bottles of Irish Sea Moss. And massive FRAGILE
<SiFuh> sticker on the box.
<remiliascarlet> Reminds me when somebody at work 12 years ago bought an eraser online, and it came in a massive box. You could fit a whole CRT TV inside of it, it was this big. All there was inside was an insane amount of bubble plastic, and at the very bottom the eraser attached with plastic to the bottom of the box.
<SiFuh> remiliascarlet: Hah, that happened to me when I bought a Cisco router. Home router size. Just a small box. Came in a box that was huge! I looked at that box and said "How freaking big is the router?" Yes, You could put a CRT TV inside it with space left over. I go to pick it up and hear something sliding inside. I opened it up. No bubble wrap or anything. Just the router in the router box in a huge empty
<SiFuh> box except for the router.
<remiliascarlet> Also, today I learned that Texas is woke and lame. https://x.com/zkurishi/status/1962322450575925437
<SiFuh> How is that woke? That is anti-woke
<SiFuh> Texas wants all child porn sex books removed from the schools and no longer available for Children
<remiliascarlet> It is woke. While they criminalize looking at fiction, they ignore real life child exploitation done by illegal immigrants, pedophiles, grooming gangs, and so on.
<remiliascarlet> Probably because it's way easier to arrest anime fans than it is to fight actual organized crime.
<remiliascarlet> ""real-world...digital exploitation"" Is it real-world or digital? You can't be both at the same time.
<remiliascarlet> "common-sense bill" Remember the "common-sense gun control"? That's what reminds me of.
<SiFuh> Anime? That won't be under this bill
<remiliascarlet> "common good" Which confirms that the supporters of this bill are communists.
<remiliascarlet> "Anime? That won't be under this bill" And yet it is: Anime? That won't be under this bill
<remiliascarlet> Keyboard, don't be gay...
<remiliascarlet> Corrected: "Anime? That won't be under this bill" And yet it is: https://x.com/jastusa/status/1961855148655042739
<SiFuh> I just looked. Texas arrests more pedophiles with convictions and those possessing child pornography than any other US state
<SiFuh> As of April 2025, Texas has 244 arrests
<remiliascarlet> And if you call 98% the entire internet a "nazi", then it might seem like the National Socialists are still in power too.
<SiFuh> That is before the bill is inacted
<remiliascarlet> So just call liking any man or woman that "looks like" below 60 years old a "pedophile", and the "pedophile" arrest numbers are much higher.
<SiFuh> Heh, no
<SiFuh> You mean 16?
<remiliascarlet> Same as what China did. They lowered the definition of what "poverty" means, and all of the sudden they made it seem like they pulled millions of people out of poverty overnight.
<SiFuh> remiliascarlet: Hah, demoncraps found a a similar way to reduce crime. They man many crimes not crimes anymore.
<SiFuh> man/made
<remiliascarlet> 60 was exadurated. It's usually 30 or younger. But remember that the woke never settle, and will eventually move up the goal post to 60.
<SiFuh> Age of consent in Texas is 16. They woke want to remove the age of consent completely
<remiliascarlet> Depends on which branch of woke. The woke left wants to remove, but the woke right wants to increase it.
<SiFuh> I don't think there is a woke right. I remember hearing that mentioned the other day and it was invented by the woke left and demoncraps
<SiFuh> The left always thrives on mind games.
<remiliascarlet> For a whole decade we had the woke exclusively on the left, but now that the pendelum is swinging back to the right again, we now have wokeness on both sides.
<SiFuh> I don't think so.
<remiliascarlet> Think again then.
<SiFuh> Texas recognizes an affirmative defense—commonly called the “Romeo and Juliet” law—in certain consensual situations involving minors close in age: The minor is at least 14 years old. The older partner is no more than 3 years older than the minor. The relationship is consensual. The older partner is not a registered sex offender. The relationship does not involve incest or violate bigamy laws.
<remiliascarlet> Well, "woke" can be hard to mutually understand. I define it as either anyone, any product, or any service that hates their or its own audience, or anyone who can't handle different viewpoints other than their own.
<remiliascarlet> And then the left or right part defines their political views and other characteristics (like tranny or overtly religious for example).
<SiFuh> Haha reminds me of that far right comedian. Gets on stage and he basically insults everyone and everything. Audience is cracking up laughing. However, when he was making fun of the veterans, the audience went silent and he said "Okay, I will move on from that" And then went into insulting jews, and gays, and cows.
<remiliascarlet> And by "overtly religious" I don't mean just normal religious, but as in you basing your entire identity on it so much that you even make laws around it, insult anyone who doesn't identify as a religion, and so on.
<SiFuh> No amount of consent or agreement by a minor under 17 is legally valid. <-- But that kind of violates the Romeo and Juliet law. Haha
<SiFuh> remiliascarlet: This one was funny. https://yts.mx/movies/jim-jefferies-two-limb-policy-2025
<remiliascarlet> For example Stanly from South Park and Flanders from The Simpsons. Stanly is Jewish, but still has a character of his own, which is fine. Flanders is Christian, but he's so hardcore about it that his character is nothing but Christianity, which is what I would consider woke.
<SiFuh> That is the dumbest thing I ever heard today
<SiFuh> So basically drug addicts, obsessive rock climbers, fighter pilots, anyone who has some for of extreme obsession is woke? Bahaha.
<SiFuh> So you must be woke because you are always dedicated to I.T. and Anime.
<SiFuh> Everyone glued to a phone must be woke.
<SiFuh> F1 drivers must be woke.
<SiFuh> remiliascarlet: I think you mean Kyle not Stan
<SiFuh> “Woke” originally meant being socially aware, especially about issues of injustice and inequality
<SiFuh> In the jungle I am aware of the issues and inequality to me. But it doesn't make me "Woke" I makes me realise that nature doesn't give a flying fuck and will bulldoze me and chew me up and spit out my bones if I make a mistake
<SiFuh> Hmm mesured the distance. Not 500 metres. 694 metres.
<SiFuh> remiliascarlet: I noticed the dog has never been for a run. So I shouted RUN. And I started running and she thought I was chasing her. Then when she figured out what the pace was she was in the lead for about 50 metres. Then was behind me the rest of the time. When we did 694 metres she saw the gate for the house. Rather than running past it. She ran to it. So I opened it and unleashed her. She walked
<SiFuh> over to the kennel and collapsed to sleep.
<SiFuh> Two days later. (That's today) I took her for a run again. She was moving so fast, she was pulling me, the entire way! I had to stop half way for a breath for a couple of minutes.
<SiFuh> She shaped up real fast
