<Proxi> Hey luk, I noticed in your signature on https://xdaforums.com/t/rom-official-enchilada-lineageos.4656607/ that you prefer to be contacted via email or IRC, so here we are. I'm currently experiencing this https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/7999 on my OnePlus 6 (Enchilada), which I use as my daily driver. I'd really like to help
<Proxi> troubleshoot or debug the problem. Do you have any suggestions or pointers on how I can assist?
<Proxi> Thanks in advance!
<luk> i have nothing to say about that one
<luk> i don't have hardware to debug it
<luk> wpa2/wpa3 mixed just works with my openwrt router
<Proxi> Hmm, maybe it's a router issue then. Thanks for your quick response
<luk> it must be something very specific with configuration
<Proxi> Yeah that's why I was asking, this goes way above my head. What hardware would one need to be able to debug this?
<luk> i mean, you already have hardware required to debug it
<luk> lmao
<luk> you just need to figure out what change in wpa_supplicant broke it
<Proxi> Ah, the faulty configuration, you mean :p
<Proxi> because you're not able to reproduce
<luk> idk, even if i was able to repro
<luk> i'm not looking forward to debugging wpa supplicant
<Proxi> yeah I get that, haha
<luk> just disable wpa2
<Proxi> I tried setting the security config on my router to wpa3-only, but that didn't work either
<luk> odd
<luk> wpa3 only definitely works here
<luk> wpa3 only is my main network
<Proxi> I have another router laying around which I can install openwrt on, I'll try if I can repro using that router
<Proxi> Thanks, this gave me some context to work with :)
