[Discord] <fedess_chad86> Hello guys, I've been reading about new Linux kernel 6.17 with better support for rockchip rk3528 SoC. I have a Chinese tv box Which I would like to run armbian with more hardware compatibility. I managed to install some version and run the desktop, but no LAN, no WIFI and no HDMI audio ...so it was pretty useless.

[Discord] <fedess_chad86> Any help or any article to get info on how to build my own kernel would be appreciated

[Discord] <Werner> This won't give OP 6.17 since there is not even a release candidate for it yet. Once RC1 or probably RC2 are out anybody can start playing with it and rollover _edge_ to this.

[Discord] <fedess_chad86> Thank you. Will wait then 😃

[Discord] <raspberrygb> I have just tested 6.17 on Fedora Rawhide aarch64 iso. And have experienced serious issues with the screen freezing for a number of minutes. 6.16 is fine.
