<erilun06> is crux worth installing in 2025?
<erilun06> I've been using arch in different forms for a couple years at this point, I'm thinking mostly about software being decently up to date

<r0ni> didn't care to find out on their own, it appears
<crash_> yeah it looks that way

<erilun06> r0ni: I'm using IRC from my phone
<erilun06> I don't have the energy or time to install something from scratch when the last news entry is several years old, luckily I've got a spare laptop, but imagine if I were considering using it on my only/main device. I also wanted to see if anyone is still using and maintaining the distro, and if anyone is actually active in the IRC
<jaeger> It's alive and well. Feel free to check it out if you want, don't if you don't, all good. :)
<erilun06> Jaeger: thanks, is there a reason why the latest news item is so old? anyway I might take a look tomorrow(Saturday) or later in the week, and I'll probably do it in the day (Swedish time) rather than around midnight
<erilun06> part of the reason why I'm interested in crux is that I'm planning on writing my own package manager(just for fun) in Fennel LISP(Lua with lisp syntax) and I would think that the tar.gz approach will make that easier/simpler compared to arch or Debian. I'm also happy that it's largely developed by swedes
