Hi, I have multiple 3-node OVNDB clusters running on Debian 12. I installed OVN using the packages available in the Debian repository, so upgrading to Debian 13 will upgrade my clusters from OVN 23.03 to 25.03.

Given that both versions are non-LTS, is it safe to use the rolling upgrade procedure (a simple apt dist-upgrade on the servers), or should I follow the fail-safe upgrade procedure and set external_ids:ovn-match-northd-version to true?

Second question regarding my specific case: One of my co-workers upgraded a single node of one of the clusters to Debian 13 last week while I was away. The nodes are still able to communicate, elect a leader, and the OVN network is still working. However, when trying to change the configuration (via Incus), it seems to fail due to numerous commit failed error messages in the ovn-northd logs,

which is expected, I guess. I think upgrading the other two nodes to Debian 13 should be enough to have the cluster behave normally. Am I mistaken?
