20:30 <M9names[m]> I assume you use the enum macro when all the values of the field can be enumerated, and not otherwise, but probably best to ask in an issue on the riscv repo

20:34 <M9names[m]> Just based on the syntax you've shown, it doesn't look like the enum version has an offset/width so it probably only works for registers where there's only the enumerated value in it.
