I have a question regarding nextpnr-ecp5: when setting device type to 12k via "--12k", output for device utilization is the same as for 25k devices ("Total LUT4s: xxxx/24288"). When changing to 45k or 85k devices, output is as expected. Is there something special with 12k devices compared to the other ones?

ah, heh, umm
<Wanda[cis]>
well
<Wanda[cis]>
how do I put it
<Wanda[cis]>
there's no such thing as a 12k
<whitequark[cis]>
the only things that differ between 25k and 12k is the IDCODE and price
<Wanda[cis]>
(a 12k is the same device as a 25k, it's just that vendor toolchain limits it to half capacity in software)
<whitequark[cis]>
(well, i think there are also different package and SERDES options between the two)
<Wanda[cis]>
(unfortunately noone has gotten around to implementing this in nextpnr yet, for some reason)

Oh thank you for the info, i found an ULX3S with 12k, with that info i may get one :-)
