I'm looking at the mmc drivers. It seems Amlogic wrote 5-6 versions of this drivers instead of one cohesive one.

It is kind of like spicc, they should write a test suite and do the driver once and do it well. 5-6 drivers has to take more time.

They re-use these IPs in nearly every chip.
