<inky>
so i built easylist, lagrange 17, and it was working, but then updated to lagrange 19, had to patch it, it doesn't start, crashes, could not solve the problem yet, so lagrange is unusable,
<inky>
also added live-wallpaper and shermans-aquarium plugin for it.
<inky>
and on kernel, so i need to overlay daedalus-dev on mobian-6.1, right?
<inky>
yaaay shermans aquarium works!
<inky>
on pp, not on d4, as it was before.

inky: great @ apps, do you want to add the forgejo thing too?
<Wizzup>
inky: on the kernel, I think we were going for something newer than 6.1?

also there was a cloudflare hack and leak of data so they also had to block lots of accesses.
<inky>
but i don't feel it because well, google chat is used at one workplace and google mail at other.
<inky>
several times armenia was disconnected from the internet because there was only one cable coming from georgia, and i didn't even notice for long time.
<inky>
other than that: fediverse, xmpp, rss.
<inky>
our commutity xmpp/fedi servers were working, i was chatting.
<dsc_>
inky: hehe
<inky>
>do you want to add the forgejo thing too?
<inky>
i missed that probably. what should i do? i've seen some talk about forgejo but didn't understand, tried jenkins and it worked.
<inky>
apart from that the packages are not visible in HAM but i guess will be visible in a couple of days for some reason.
<Wizzup>
they should be visible now, if not, there is a ham bug
<Wizzup>
(if they used to be visible)
<Wizzup>
yes, the suggestion was to add the .workflow/forgejo/build.yml file like the other extras repositories
<inky>
>on the kernel, I think we were going for something newer than 6.1?
<inky>
yes true, it was 6AM in the morning.
<inky>
but i guess the question is, i can add another kernel branch and overlay daedalus-dev dir with debian directory over it?
<Wizzup>
no, it's not that simple
<Wizzup>
we used to check out a mobian branch, which contains debian packaging and loads of patches, we then have to add our own patches on top of that, in particular packages to the build deb package script that is part of Linux
<inky>
oh now visible. so some hours have to pass after actual repo build. interesting.
<inky>
>they should be visible now, if not, there is a ham bug
<Wizzup>
maybe ham just updated the sources
<inky>
no no i did force it to update many times.
<inky>
we discussed this with arno last time i was updating the packages, in the beginning of august.
<inky>
arno confirmed that. we were wondering, maemo-gpt also was not appearing then appeared.
<Wizzup>
well, nothing changed and now it's visible, and nothing happened other than your device updating sources.list I think
<inky>
yes in the night it was visible with apt but not in HAM.
<Wizzup>
did you click on 'update' in ham?
<inky>
or perhaps HAM can't properly apt-get update anymore? i don't know. maybe i did apt-get update and now it is visible in HAM but i forced HAM to do update/refresh lots of times.
<inky>
so just to say there might be something wrong.
<inky>
both update and refresh in the
<inky>
download option.
<Wizzup>
it seems like you're using the separate command line rather than the ham update button, I am not sure if they share the same apt cache
<inky>
no no, i used HAM update and i used HAM refresh. that didn't help that's why i checked with apt and it was there.
<Wizzup>
ok, but what do you think could possibly have changed since then?
<inky>
last time it was exactly like this, but after some time they appeared in HAM.
<Wizzup>
brb
<inky>
i have no idea, i am raising a concern, so that everyone knows. it's not only me, ask arno.
<inky>
so adding such forgejo file is enough? nothing has to be changed?
<inky>
why master? don't we use daedalus branch? or if my up to date sources are in maemo/daedalus branch do i write there maemo/daedalus after maemo-entry.yml@ ?
<inky>
but i don't see it. perhaps i look in to the wrong directory?
<inky>
s/directory/repository/
<Wizzup>
I seem to recall I linked some of this in the past
<Wizzup>
I think if you look at the maemo/daedalus branch and then at the debian/gbp.conf file, you will see where it pulls source from
<Wizzup>
this is most likely matching a tag which is pulled from the changelog
<Wizzup>
you can resolve that tag to a branch, probably maemo-kernel-6.12.y
<Wizzup>
in this case though, I think just the patches in the maemo/daedalus branch would need to be updated, if I recall correctly

Wizzup: i don't know what's going on with updates but indeed, refresh seems buggy in HAM and apt update makes things appearing in HAM properly iirc.
<arno11>
one more thing: devel prio is still 1001 like stable
<arno11>
hmm scratch that @prio, seems normal according to irc logs, sorry

@updates, yeah inky is right, i doublechecked and refresh doesn't work in HAM
xmn_ is now known as xmn
<arno11>
if i do apt update, lagrange, easylist and others appear in HAM
<arno11>
hmm and weird stuff: if i do apt-cache policy conversations, i see 0.7.67 in extras repos. wtf ?
<inky>
(recently i made a pr that was accepted, btw, very proud of it)
