SiFuh: "MUSL is fine for what you and I do." <- will be true once we fix the issue of GIMP segfaulting at startup, or if our workflow no longer requires GIMP.
<farkuhar>
I'm intrigued by the claim that MUSL and GLIBC variants of OpenCRUX will need drastically different dependencies, though. For most of the differences found so far, the existing solutions are sufficient: prt-get.aliases or an overlay directory that declares alternate dependencies.

stenur's latest post to the mailing list refers to curl and perl CVEs, which he thought jue would have addressed by now. For perl, this one seems to be the relevant PR: https://github.com/Perl/perl5/pull/23019

farkuhar: 'drastically'? You adding words to our conversation. No one said that.
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: okay, so the dependencies might differ only slightly. It should still be possible to work around most of the differences using prt-get.aliases, though.
<farkuhar>
If we need to maintain separate ports collections for MUSL and GLIBC variants, that's fine too. They already do something similar for CRUX versus CRUX-ARM.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: This ncurses is quite challenging.
