DixitP: I did remind rburton about that recently
<RP>
DixitP: lets see if ross is around shortly...
<DixitP>
RP Thank you very much. I totally understand people's bandwidth while doing open source. I really appreciate all the support I have received so far. I should be patient in getting a review, but I am excited about this patch because it's my first contribution. Having it part of the project would mean a lot to me. I have no other intention. I hope my

thoughts are conveyed correctly.
<RP>
DixitP: it has been in limbo for too long, sorry. We do try and do better
<DixitP>
RP I understand. No worries.
<RP>
DixitP: I know Ross quite well, we've worked together for years so don't worry if I beat him up a bit, we're friends really ;-)

DixitP: so sorry about the delay. i've dug out a device which should have some power sysfs support and am building a core-image-sato now to test.
<rburton>
DixitP: how did you test the changes?

<rburton>

<DixitP>
For exact modifications for testing and test steps, I will need to setup again. Let me know if you want me to do it.
<rburton>
nah its fine, i was just curious what you did
<DixitP>
Yeah, learnt a lot many things along the way, tested and validated I was able to get the correct battery percentages & states.

Why devtool doesn't apply patches that are available in recipe? I looked with devtool --help to see if there might be an option but I didn't see it. Is this intentional or is it missing?

Hi erery! Has anyone worked with https://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/recipe/405834/ . I am using with scarthgap linux kernel 6.12 from NXP. Once I start this application I get error "segmetation fault". Strace gave me "--- SIGSEGV {si_signo=SIGSEGV, si_code=SEGV_MAPERR, si_addr=0x9} ---" and Gdb gave me "cannot execute binary file: Exec

format error". I'll highly appreicate your response.
