<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> If the self built image works just fine keep using it. I doubt there would be disadvantages over stable. Alternatively you could wait until next release.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <guf5741> Why not just go on with 25.08?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> Probably afraid using something "non-stable". But in comparison to other, especially larger, Linux projects, borders between unstable and stable are not that big. Sure regressions happen all the time but that's true for stable as well since testing everything on every image on every board is just impossible
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <guf5741> Yeah, you are right
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <igorpec> I made "stable" images for 4lts https://netcup-01.armbian.com/incoming/igorpecovnik/orangepi4-lts/archive/ but they arw untested
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <igorpec> I made "stable" 25.5 images for 4lts https://netcup-01.armbian.com/incoming/igorpecovnik/orangepi4-lts/archive/ but they arw untested
