<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> Recently installed bookworm with Home Assistant built in (bottom of this page https://www.armbian.com/orangepi-5/ )
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> I tried updating, like so-
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> sudo apt full-upgrade
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> Reading package lists... Done
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> Building dependency tree... Done
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> Reading state information... Done
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> Calculating upgrade... Done
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> The following packages have been kept back:
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> armbian-bsp-cli-orangepi5-current armbian-firmware base-files linux-dtb-current-rockchip64
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> linux-image-current-rockchip64 linux-u-boot-orangepi5-current
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 6 not upgraded.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> I noticed some updates were kept back. Not sure why, so I checked in armbian-config tool.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> In armbian-config tool, I found there were some options to automatically update things.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> I decided it might be a good idea to enable 'Armbian firmware upgrades', 'enable automating docker container base packages updating', 'enable automatic package updates'
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> After this, on running apt upgrade again a couple more packages updated but armbian-bsp-cli-orangepi5-current armbian-firmware base-files linux-u-boot-orangepi5-current are all still held back.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> Should I do anything about this? Should I revert any of my changes in armbian-config?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> I tried updating, like so-

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> I use this opi5 for home assistant and have it connected via cloudflare tunnel so I can access it via the internet via my domain name
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <mecoblock> @igorpec how does the Rock5T page have a 6.12 Home Assistant image on the site when there’s no mainline Device Tree for it? This seems like a bug
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> so I figured it would be ideal to have latest updates
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <mecoblock> looks like you have disabled kernel updates
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> I tried enabling everything to do with updates I could find in armbian-config, is there somewhere else I should try
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> only consideration I suppose is I'd prefer to not break the docker which runs homeassistant
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> other than that, there's not much running on this machine
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <icequ> maybe the better question I should ask is, why has the image got kernel updates disabled by default and will I break things if I try to force enable them :D

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <igorpec> Yes, a bug. File should be removed from artifacts and yaml files until .... then files are removed auto from index
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <mecoblock> I'm surprised it made it this far :D

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <igorpec> we don't have verification if device tree actually exists
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <frankn.steroids> why one cant use the 2x usb3 ports on rock5b?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <superkali> explain the issue with more datails, like lsusb -t etc etc
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <superkali> or armbianmonitor -u
