Does someone here know about abelloni? A colleague and I are waiting on feedback for an rtc fix that IMHO should go into 6.15. Assuming he is on vacation, is there a known guy responsible for rtc during abelloni's leave?
<krzk>
AFAIK, There is no official substitute, so just like many other subsystems it has one person-risk (or one-person bottleneck, or bus factor etc).
<krzk>
ukleinek: at least here it is clearly expressed - no inactive other maintainers :)

krzk: there is noone in MAINTAINERS, but I suspect I'm not the only one who at least asks a coworker to have an eye on the mailing list during my absence.
<krzk>
ukleinek: that's a nice practice. Anyway, assuming you pinged Alexandre and he just disappeared and patch is somehow important for you, just send it yourself to Greg, akpm or via your regular pulls to Linus
<krzk>
I am sure no one will be here offended
<krzk>
just drop a note to abelloni
* ukleinek
thinks the patch should go in before 5.16, but I'm not confident enough to send it upstream without abelloni's blessing.
<ukleinek>
s/5.16/6.15/ of course, for 5.16 it's too late already :-)
