Is 1bit the best place to buy from? I was looking at mouser as bought lots of stuff from them in the past but if there still are known issues with their current stock i'd rather avoid but if 1bit stock has the same issue id rather wait..

<benny2366[m]>
yes , so 1bit gets the full share instead of mouser pinching some

1b2 makes the ones sold on Mouser, there's no difference where you buy
<whitequark[cis]>
I'd say just get it and RMA if you have issues
<benny2366[m]>
don't you think mouser gets a cut ?
<whitequark[cis]>
makes no difference to me either way

Ok, so all pcbs have the same probability of having the issue. I wanted mouser purely because i know i can order stuff via work account without issues as need to have a uk presence (i know mouser are american and ship from the eu). But it might be a few months before i get time to use it and work are bloody awful at doing returns.

Is there a simple self test that can be done to ascertain the serviceability before use?
<whitequark[cis]>
the software does a self-test for that issue every time you run anything
