<ppetrov^> jaeger, what are your plans for the mate repo? You mentioned that you may stop updating it soon?
<jaeger> I updated it recently but it doesn't seem like there's been a lot of upstream work on it recently so not sure
<jaeger> Still a lot of gtk3 stuff in it that doesn't have fractional scaling support, not sure it has a mature wayland option
<ppetrov^> jaeger, so it won't get a "semi-official" status, as KDE 6?
<jaeger> I guess it could, I just don't really expect much change upstream

<ppetrov^> jaeger, would be great if MATE got a similar status to KDE in CRUX :) But it's up to you guys
<braewoods> ppetrov^, you volunteering? ;)
<ppetrov^> braewoods, for what?
<braewoods> package maintenance duty, since you seem to care about MATE.
<braewoods> DEs are often large package sets.

<ppetrov^> braewoods, I have enough on my plate with my two repos, already. Under other circumstances, I would be glad to do it, however, I cannot guarnatee consistent maintenance
