<ganboing>
That'll be very helpful. The doc is probably outdated for quite a while
<shadows>
I think in practice just take a released package and the config from that, tweak those few things and compile, should be enough; plus whatever U-Boot incantation is needed to attach a custom kernel into debian-installer
<shadows>
I've done the U-Boot "incantation" before to get JH7110 Milk-V Mars CM system-on-module going and it's not difficult, but there's some challenges if we're stuck with vendor U-Boot and not the shiny new features of upstream ;)

the way to read it is to just go up the tree until you find interrupt-parent
<dramforever[m]1>
that one defines the interpretation of interrupts

I just now realize that I got my Milk-V Mars CM modules mixed up on the desk here and I'm trying to get an AP6256 module going that is *not* populated on the board.
<shadows>
the Internet has really changed a lot recently, probably because of ramp-up in web scraping by "A.I." tech... anyway picture is of the board that clearly does not have AP6256 module populated; in the likely that image link just doesn't work.
