Finally starting to get used to sly stickers. I have to keep in mind that when using them, I'm replaying a session that is already complete, a static state. Wish I could dynamically evaluate expressions and change values.

it's a little hook in sly that records information at the places where the stickers are set and plays them back after the fact so you can look at how the code flows.

Stickers tag an s-expr to a value. Many stickers can be applied. After evaluating, there is a list that can be stepped through. I suggest installing this package: https://github.com/joaotavora/sly-stepper

sly-stepper will set a sticker on all the s-exprs in a defun/macro. It also works for the defcommand macro in stumpwm. It is bound to C-c C-s P.

I'm really a newbie w/ stickers. I'm more used to the dynamic debugging that can be done with elisp and Clojure. Even as a newbie, starting to grok the power of sly stickers. I'm sure there are true experts hanging out here.
