i also have repeating sms'es, and my operator has not had MMS for over a decade

so while those transfer mt messages seem related to mms in general, perhaps they're also used for other services, perhaps where the operator needs to "push" something to the terminal

e.g. maybe some of us get those messages due to some type of provisioning message - at least i know my operator does send push messages in connection with APN information, etc.

well, I did have the qmi debugging enabled now, so I could see if the logs are different for smses that do not repeat
