<inky> i just use my favourite windowmaker on a lapdock.
<inky> i know tmux, i on purpose listed options when not two terminals but different programs are necessary together.
<inky> i have configured shortcutn in windowmaker that calr xrandr: only to d4 or only to lapdock.
<inky> doesnt make sense to have both because d4 is behind the lapdock screen.

<inky> and on just pinephone i am opening two windows on each workspace, in windowmaker. just on pinephone screen, never cnetted it to lapdock.
<inky> i guess should try one day.

<inky> kiva: this is it by the way
<kiva> looks good, but can you go back to matchbox without restart?
<inky> this is not maemo, this is gentoo. (:
<inky> and no i can't go to matchbox without restart on maemo.
<kiva> aah...so you did not put another window manager to Maemo.
<inky> i did, i also have wmaker on droid4.
<inky> and xrandr scripts.
<inky> but i need to manually change files in /etc/X11
<inky> then restart to go back to hildon.
<inky> or to go to wmaker.
<kiva> please document that to forum or wiki..maybe someday somebody make it easier...or at least I might get hints how test another wm:s.
<inky> oh good idea.

<kiva> that model is ARMv7 architecture compatible.

<kiva> Original XO-1 model is designed to very low power so it is slow.
<kiva> the last XO-4 has touch.
<buZz> iirc the model i have is preproduction XO-1
<kiva> its screen works well in direct sunlight...and might be only good thing in that x86 model.

<buZz> yeah the PixelQi screens or something
<buZz> i dont think there's ever been any other devices with such a display
<buZz> where turning off the backlight makes it monochrome and transflective
